The Vermont Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects presents an exciting lecture on Green Infrastructure by Dr. Attila Toth, a distinguished professor at Slovak University in Nitra, Slovakia on Thursday November 15, 2018. Dr. Toth will discuss his research and implementation of Green Infrastructure in Europe. His presentation, "How Does Your Stormwater Grow" will examine how green infrastructure and nature-based solutions can be and have been implemented in urban and rural environments to create sustainable, resilient, and more live-able communities across Europe. These techniques provide good examples of how Vermont might want to begin addressing rainwater as part of the ongoing cleaning of Lake Champlain and other waters in our state.
Please join us at the Gallery at Main Street Landing in Burlington on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 6pm for refreshments, followed by the presentation at 7pm. The Gallery at Main Street Landing is located in the Corner Stone building street level at 3 Main Street.
VTASLA hopes to see you there!
