Vermont Works for Women announces its next

Transitional Jobs Program Session

The next class will start March 11, 2014 and will run for six weeks.

Who should apply for this program?
We are looking for women who are in transition –women who are returning to the community following incarceration, women who receive state assistance (Reach Up, Food Stamps, etc.), and women who have no or limited work history and need to transition to work. The Transitional Jobs Program offers a supportive, structured environment that acts as a bridge to long-term employment. Participants who complete the program walk away with an invaluable work experience, a current job reference, and employability skills to assist them in their transition to long-term employment.

Vermont Works for Women is a non-profit organization with over twenty-five years of experience in education and job-training for women and girls. Let us help you reach your goals!

Interested women should call Christian at 655-8900 x 503 or email cberry@vtworksforwomen.org.
