The Handcrafting & Ceramics MakerSphere Satellite Space is hosting an Intro to Woodworking class this Saturday, November 10th from 10am to noon. This introductory course will offer the student a look at wood that includes the grain pattern, how wood moves with humidity, why it cracks and how to prevent it. We discuss drill bits and drilling techniques. Information about saws and cutting techniques as well as basic joints and fasteners. Q and A will be a part of this course so bring tools you have questions about or use ours and learn with the basics.
