The Rotary Club of Charlotte, Shelburne and Hinesburg meets this Wednesday, November 7th at 7:30am. This week's program features a presentation by Jolinda LaClair, Director of Drug Prevention, who will talk about opiate addiction in Vermont and what work is being done to address it. Membership in Rotary is open to anyone who lives or works in the towns covered and visitors are always welcome. The club meets in the Fellowship Hall behind Trinity Episcopal Church in Shelburne. Breakfast, as usual, will be served.
Programs for the next three meetings are: A Veterans' Breakfast with Dr. Sam Feitelberg, who will review Shelburne's program to honor Veterans. He will be joined by a special guest who is a recent veteran who served in Iraq. There will be no meeting on Thanksgiving eve. The program on November 28th will feature Randy Archer, who will speak on gold panning in Vermont.
