12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
At The River Garden – 157 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT

Against the Grain Gourmet and Strolling of the Heifers are having a pizza party to benefit Project Feed the Thousands!
On Saturday, November 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the community is invited to stop by the River Garden at 157 Main Street in Brattleboro for a Funds and Food Donation Pizza Party. Attendees will be given freshly baked pizza, a drink, and a dessert in exchange for a donation and/or a non-perishable food item for Project Feed the Thousands. The pizza party will feature many allergy-free options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan pizza and desserts.

"Project Feed the Thousands has become a key part of our local food security picture", said Orly Munzing, Executive Director of the Stroll, "Our mission of building healthy local food systems starts with addressing hunger in our community."

Nancy Cain, founder of Against the Grain Gourmet agreed, "Project Feed is the largest food drive in the area. Last year, they provided over 200,000 meals to those in need. Against the Grain is happy to provide pizzas and desserts to help support this worthy cause."

The family-friendly event will feature several flavors of Against the Grain Gourmet's gluten-free pizzas and desserts, freshly baked in the River Garden's kitchen, as well as their newest product — vegan pizza. Local musicians will provide entertainment during the event.

"Come to the River Garden on Saturday for a delicious lunch, and help your neighbors at the same time," Munzing commented. "It's going to be fun!"
