This Friday, November 9, at 7:00, Christopher Guest's rollicking comedy BEST IN SHOW will kick off a five-film series at the Maple Corner Community Club, with films the second Friday of each month. Guest's 2000 film is a satirical "mockumentary" about the competitive dog show circuit, and an array of eccentric owners and trainers. The marvelous cast includes Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Fred Willard, Parker Posey, Michael McKean, and Guest himself. Rick Winston will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterwards; admission is by donation.
