Nov 7, 2018, 1:30 to 3 PM

Join the Lamoille Valley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute for the final lecture of our fall season featuring Robert Resnik and Marty Morrissey. The lecture will take place at the Commodores Inn, located on Route 100 south of Stowe village. The lecture will be at 1:30 sharp Wednesday, November 7th.

Veteran Vermont folk musicians Marty Morrissey and Robert Resnik have been playing Celtic music together in Vermont and around the Northeast for more than 30 years. They performed for 18 years as members of the Highland Weavers, one of Vermont's most popular Irish and Scottish bands, and have since released two critically acclaimed recordings of Vermont songs. Robert has also hosted All the Traditions, a weekly folk music program on Vermont Public Radio, for the past 21 years. Between them, Marty and Robert play more than 30 different musical instruments! During the last session of OLLI, they will play some of their favorites and most popular Vermont, Irish and Scottish music.

There is a $5.00 fee for the lecture. Refreshment is offered at the conclusion of the lecture.
