The 4th annual Granite City 5K Run/Walk for Veterans celebrates the service of our men and women of the armed forces and raises awareness of the many challenges veterans endure. This kick-off event is presented by the Barre Partnership in partnership with the American Legion Barre Post # 10. 100% of the profits of this event will go to The Veterans' Place (in Northfield) to support local veterans.
Registration costs $50 and includes a long sleeve athletic shirt, post-race snacks and medals to the top three in a number of age brackets.
Register on race day, Saturday, November 3rd starting at 7:15am at the American Legion Post #10. The race starts at 8am so please arrive early.
We'll also be hosting a silent auction with a variety of items to bid on to support this great cause. Don't miss it!
