MIGRANT JUSTICE EVENT: The Refugee Response Group at St. James Episcopal Church invites you to a potluck and fundraiser to benefit Migrant Justice, an organization which works to improve living and working conditions and helps solve legal problems of migrant farm workers in Vermont. The event will be on Saturday, November 17 at 5:30 pm at St. James Episcopal Church, 4 St. James Place, Essex Junction, VT. The program will be a presentation by a migrant farm worker and a staff member of MJ describing the work and accomplishments of the organization. This will be followed by an optional rapid response training session to prepare allies of MJ to respond to emergency situations when farm workers are detained. Please join us and bring a dish to share. Donations may be cash or check made out to Migrant Justice, a 501©3 organization.
