Getting Started on Genealogy - Saturday, November 10 from 12:30-2pm
With Shelia Morris of the Vermont Genealogy Library
Have you watched "Who Do You Think You Are?" or "Finding Your Roots" and thought about someday to start researching your family's history? Sheila Morris will help you get started by explaining: how and where to find records, how to find useful Genealogy Web Sites and best practices for conducting sound research. She will also share strategies on how to organize what you find. Forms which you can use to get started will be provided. All ethnic groups will be discussed.
Sheila Morris is past president of the VT-FCGS (formed in 1996) and is presently a member of their board of directors.
Sign ups are appreciated.
