The CHS will hold its annual dinner on Wednesday, 11/7, at 6:00 pm at the Castleton Community Center, east of Castleton Corners. To register for dinner catered by the Blue Cat Bistro, call Holly Hitchcock at 468-5105. $20 per person at the door. Please choose entree of lasagna or Blue Cat chicken.
At 7:00 p.m. we will present "Rooted: Cultivating Community in the Vermont Grange". This film, a co-production of Historic New England and the Vermont Folklife Center, uses one-on-one interviews and social gatherings to share hopes and concerns for the future of an organization adapting to a sharply different concept of community in the 21st Century. There is no charge for the program without dinner. All are welcome.
