Open Fields School hosts our Bi-annual Awesome Autumn Afternoon, a day filled with food, festivities, and fun!

When: Saturday, November 3rd from 12:00 to 4:00

Where: Thetford Center Community Building, Route 113 -- across from the Thetford Center Store

- A Harvest Lunch: An "all you can eat" selection of soups, pastas, chili, pizza, desserts, and beverages, with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and low-sugar options. There'll be a choice of a burger from Shire Beef (100% grass fed local beef) or hot dog. Adults - $10, children 12 and under - $5

- Outdoor activities and crafts for kids throughout the afternoon. (No charge to participate). There'll be a HARRY POTTER theme this year! Come to Quidditch Practice and attend Potions Class. A Scavenger Hunt will challenge you to find the golden snitch. If you're brave, try out the Third Task (the Maze).

- A live auction with auctioneer Dean Whitlock (starting at 1 pm). Get a jump on your holiday shopping or find a treasure just for you. This year's items are an awesome array of products and gift certificates from various local businesses. We've got some really great items - a Ryobi pressure washer, Keurig coffee machine with reusable pods, custom
children's birthday cake, a load of hardpak, two telescopes, 1 night/2 day midweek stay at Lake Morey (including greens
fees), oil change/tire change, Nuwave Oven, Folk Floors floor cloth, gift box of Vermont-made goods, suitcase full of
magicians' props, shadow puppet, candles, essential oils, Vermont Baby flannel items, pedicure, handbeaded jewelry, Hair Shop pedicure, gift
certificates from Kevin's custom arrows, EC Brown's, Fresco Deli, Dandelion Acres, Coop Food Stores, and Irving Oil, passes to the Nugget and VINS...and
more items are coming in daily!
