Is it finally time to weatherize your drafty house? Are you always cold at home in winter, and tired of knowing your hard earned money is going out the window or thru the roof?
If so, you should attend the Button Up Home Weatherization Workshop on Thursday, November 15 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in Waterbury at the Steele Community Room in the Waterbury Municipal Center.
This free event is hosted by the volunteers of Waterbury LEAP. During the workshop you'll learn from several experts about the most common ways homes lose energy, steps you can take to tighten up your house, energy audits, new technologies such as air source heat pumps, and loans and incentives to help get the work done. Enjoy free pizza and drinks, and energy-efficiency raffle prizes!
