Capital City Concerts presents J.S. Bach's Magnificat on Saturday, November 3, 7:30PM at the Saint Augustine Church in Montpelier, and Sunday, November 4, 3PM at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in Burlington.This all J.S. Bach concert features world-renowned vocal soloists, an exceptional five-part choir, and an unusually large and colorful orchestra. The Magnificat is music of remarkable imagination, color, and tenderness. Though conceived on a grand scale, it is a compact work of just over 30 minutes. The professional orchestra will conducted by your neighbor Richard Riley. Also on the program will be Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major.
