The Humane Society of Chittenden County is having its first-ever juried cat film festival, Sunday, April 6 from 10 am to noon at the Majestic 10 Theater in Williston. Submit your OWN video for a chance to win an aCATemy Award. We’re accepting short videos in three CATegories: 6 second, 15-30 second, and 1-2 minutes. At the event, the audience will get to watch the top 20 videos in each CATegory, then vote on the winners. We’re also accepting cat memes, and the winning meme will be put onto our PLANET CAT t-shirt, which will be sold at the event.

So all you cat lovers, submit your videos/memes and tell your friends! Submission is easy -- just visit the HSCC website link at http://www.chittendenhumane.org/get-involved/planet-cat. We’re accepting submissions until March 14.
