With Halloween this week I hope everyone is getting their costumes ready! Don't forget, Grand Isle Rec Committee will be hosting our Annual Trunk-or-Treat at Grand Isle School. This is one of our biggest events, and we will have special appearances by our own sheriffs department and fire/rescue. This is a great option for kids without neighborhoods, or parents who want to just commiserate a bunch of children hopped up on candy together. For anyone who does not know what Trunk or Treat is, its a safe place free of traffic and is lit, where kids can go car to car and trick or treat.
