Past event
Oct 29, 2018

Neighbors,

The City Council is scheduled to meeting on Monday, October 29, 2018, in Contois Auditorium. At 5:00 p.m., we will hold a public information hearing on the public questions on the November 6 City ballot. The ballot will seek approval for the issuance of general obligation bonds for the Burlington High School and for the Wastewater and Stormwater upgrades and improvements.

At 7:00 p.m., we are scheduled to convene a local control commission meeting. The regular City Council meeting is scheduled to being immediately thereafter.

The deliberative agenda is light. First, we will take up a request for an indoor entertainment permit for Orlando's Bar and Lounge planned for One Lawson Lane. Next, we will receive an annual report from the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission. Following committee reports, comments from Councilors and the Mayor on general city affairs, we will have an expected executive session to discuss collective bargaining.

Public forum will begin at 7:30 p.m. where all persons are invited to speak on any topic.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Thank you,

Chip Mason
