A unique opportunity for Barre City Residents :

The Barre City Energy Committee is hosting a number of Button-up events as part of Efficiency Vermont's Energy Hero campaign. As a Button-up Hero Community, Barre City residents can receive a free energy walk through by a Professional Energy Efficiency contractor vetted by Efficiency Vermont. sign up for a free visit on the Button Up Vermont website. (Some of your neighbors already have!)

During the walk through the Contractor will point out your best opportunities to save money, reduce humidity, and keep you and your family comfortable and healthy in your home. You'll get a report with an estimate of the costs, available incentives, and the expected savings. Then, you decide how you'd like to move forward. You must sign up for your free visit by December 15th and visits are scheduled in the order they are requested.

Come out on November 7th at 6:00 at Alumni Hall to learn more about this opportunity, meet the contractors offering visits, and get your home efficiency questions answered. You can also pick up some free weatherization materials and we'll show you what you can do at home to start saving immediately.
