Happy Halloween - Old County Road

Past event
Oct 31, 2018, 5 to 7 PM

Happy Halloween! During the hours of 5-7PM, Old County Road will be closed to traffic excepting residents and their guests for Trick or Treating!. Residents and guests are asked to try to arrive before 5 PM and to drive slowly, as always, on Halloween night on Old County Rd. Parents and their trick-or-treaters are invited to park at the Waitsfield Telecom parking lot (not on the field at all, please) or at the Health Center, and hop a ride on Doug Kenyon's wagon, which will take riders to the north end of Old County Rd. (or earlier on the road if riders wish) so that kids can trick-or-treat down the road. Many thanks to Doug Kenyon for pulling his haywagon, to the community for their donation of candy, to Waitsfield Telecom and the Health Center for the use of their parking lots, to the ambulance, the fire department, and the residents of Old County Road for their Halloween spirit and continued support. Trick-or-treaters are asked to exercise caution (the hay wagon is big!) and stick to roads and driveways and to not cut across lawns. Thank you.
