On Tuesday, November 13, 2018 6:00-8:00 at the Lanpher Memorial Library in Hyde Park, the FREE Your Child Parent/Care Provider program series concludes with: Discussing Death with Your Child.

Although death is an inevitable part of life, discussing death with your child can be uncomfortable for many parents, so we tend to avoid it. When we discuss death with our children we are giving them information, recognizing the feelings that may come with thinking about death, and supporting our own beliefs and values for what happens after a loved one dies.
Using quality children's picture books, discussion and practical information, we will explore this topic to help make these discussions with your child a bit easier.
Led by Marie Olsen, LMHC, RPT; and Amy Olsen, Lanpher Library Director/Children & Youth Services Librarian.
All participants will receive a free book to take home.
