Come meet author Roberta A. Harold

R.A. Herold's first historical mystery, Heron Island, is set on a Lake Champlain island near the mouth of Keeler Bay, and local color abounds as Fishbladder Island, Savage Island and Grand Isle provide the backdrop for murder. The cast of characters includes paper tycoon Warren Dodge, Teddy Roosevelt, and the Webbs of Shelburne Farms. Ms. Herold, who lives in Montpelier, tells us where fact and fiction meet, and provides an exciting portrayal of Guilded Age Lake Champlain, including rare photos, drawings and maps gathered during her research.
