The Brandon Congregational Church will be holding a Silent Auction on Saturday, November 10 in Fellowship Hall from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. to benefit our Building Fund. Our lovely old buildings are showing their age. At 186 years of age, our Church building will require extensive work on the roof, steeple, and other areas. We will be applying for grants, but will need to provide matching funds. This will be a multi-year, multi-project process which we are just beginning. Great thanks to all who supported our Carillon restoration project. It is so nice to hear lovely music, once again, throughout the day.

Any funds raised through the Auction will be dedicated to the building fund. Our buildings have been used by many groups throughout the years and we are delighted to be a center of community activity and would like to continue to be so for many generations to come. We are asking local businesses, friends and neighbors to help us by donating interesting, items. Gift cards, are always popular as are decorative home items and food treats. The Auction will take place during our Harvest Dinner, also being held that evening. A free will offering will be taken. These are always enjoyable evenings filled with good food, good friends and lovely items on which to bid.
