Sunday October 28 at 1 pm is Community Day at the Craftsbury Academy Woodlot and Trails. If you are interested in forestry, nature, cedar wetlands, beaver ponds and great walking trails come re-connect with this incredible town resource. We will briefly talk about the history of this 78 acre donated property, the role the Academy has had, and then offer guided walks throughout the property. Jared Nunery, our county forester, will lead a walk as will other community members. Have you seen the Big Pine yet? Did you know there is a 'flat path' for toddlers and friends. Have you walked to the Lean-to and had a picnic? The Academy Woodlot has all this and more! The Woodlot is towards the end of Wylie Hill Road. We'll have hot cider available.
