Are you ready to Plant?!
Come out from the cold to share space with us and help get your planting juices flowing at the:
Community Seed Swap & Potluck
Sunday March 9th, 2014; 5 to 8 pm
South Londonderry Train Depot
As it is a swap & potluck, please bring seeds (No GMO Seeds!) to trade and a favorite dinner dish to share!
If you are unable to bring anything to share, there is a suggested donation of $5. Or come early to help set up or stay late to help clean up.
Emmett Dunbar from Anjali Farms will be giving a talk on spring planting as well as growing crops in our increasingly uncertain and unstable environmental times.
Gosia Malgorzata Mosiej will be giving a short talk on seed saving methods and showing us how to make seed packets for the swap!
There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and answers. We invite you to share your experiences too!
There will be live music so bring an instrument and jump in if you feel so inclined.
This is a Leave No Trace event so please bring your own plate and utensils.
As there will be new babies and elderly persons in attendance and this winter has seen lots of illness going around, please refrain from coming if you are currently ill, just getting over something, or think you might be getting sick. Thank you.
We can save you seeds if you let us know that you want some!
Hosted by Garrison & Alison Buxton
