Capital City Concerts presents J.S. Bach's MAGNIFICAT on Saturday, November 3, 7:30PM at the Saint Augustine Church in Montpelier, and on Sunday, November 4, 3PM at the Cathedral of Saint Paul, Burlington. This all J.S. Bach concert will be a historic event for Capital City Concerts and features a five-part choir, and orchestra conducted by Richard Riley, with world-renowned vocal soloists including mezzo-soprano Julie Boulianne who sings frequently at the Metropolitan Opera, and has appeared internationally as part of the Met Live in HD cinema cast series. Other works on the program include Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major, BWV 1047, featuring Sycil Mathai-trumpet, Lucy Chapman-violin, Randall Wolfgang-oboe, and Karen Kevra-flute.
