Greensboro Halloween Trick-Or-Treat Trail

Past event
Oct 31, 2018, 4:30 to 6:30 PM

Do you love Halloween but live too far out in the boonies for Trick-or-Treaters to find your door? Do you love to wear costumes and carve jack-o-lanterns? Then I hope you will join us this year as we revitalize Halloween celebrations in Greensboro Village.

We have designated 4:30-6:30 on Halloween as the special time for Trick-or-Treaters to make their rounds and there will be at least forty village houses handing out treats.

As you know, some of the houses in the village are not occupied in the winter. We have permission to install "porch-sitters" on the unoccupied homes and this is your chance to join in the fun. We are asking for volunteers to occupy those porches from 4:30-6:30 to hand out treats to the little witches, goblins and ghosts.

Please call 533-7733 or email judy@judydales.com to volunteer to be a porch-sitter. You are encouraged to wear a costume, bring some appropriate props (a carved jack-o-lantern or other Halloween decorations) and your own non-flammable light sorce (a lantern or big flashlight). Also be prepared for the whether since you will be outside for two hours.

You will be assigned a specific house. The church is collecting candy donations so feel free to pick up a bag or two as you head toward your porch. We will also have hot drinks at the ready, so stop by Fellowship Hall at the end of Trick-or-Treat time to warm up and eat all the left-over candy!!!!

Hope you will join us in creating a fun and safe Halloween Trick-or-Treat for our youngsters!
