Join the Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) and Lamoille County Conservation District (LCCD) for a site visit tour and presentations on resilient right-of-ways, and managing stormwater runoff in the right-of-way!
Presentations will highlight maintaining roadside vegetation, guidance for managing driveway permits, and drainage management standards to mitigate stormwater runoff in the right-of-way.
The workshop will begin at the Cambridge Fire Station (153 Church Street in Jeffersonville.) Please use on-street parking so the Fire Station parking lot is available for firefighters in the event of a call.
Guest speakers will include Joanne Garton, Resilient Right-of-Ways Project Coordinator with the Vermont Urban and Community Forestry Program, and Milly Archer, Certified Floodplain Manager with the Vermont League of Cities and Towns.
For more information please see flyer on LCPC's homepage at www.lcpcvt.org. Please RSVP to meghan@lcpcvt.org by October 29th.
