You are invited to a free community conversation, Tuesday, October 30th, on "approaching death with the richness of life!" The Living with Dying Partnership of Addison County is collaborating with Re-authoring Teaching, Treleven and the Breadloaf Mountain Zen Center to bring together three remarkable speakers – Sasha McAllum Pilkington (Hospice Counselor from New Zealand), Joshin Byrnes (Zen Buddhist Priest) and Dr. Diana Barnard (Palliative Care Physician). The event will be at the Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, starting at 6:00 with a light reception, 6:30 the program begins, 7:45 the program officially ends. There will also be a sitting meditation from 4:30-5:15 for anyone who would like to experience this quiet practice.
