The Bristol Cub Scouts are strapping on their helmets and buckling their seat belts for their first ever Soapbox Derby race!
"What is that?", you ask; a Soapbox Derby is where the Scouts participate in building and painting their own carts, that they race each other down a track for the fastest time. It helps teach them teamwork, building skills and good sportsmanship.

There will be baked goods for sale, displays showing Scout activities and an opportunity to see what your local Cub Scouts do for fun!

When: August 24th, between 10am and 2pm
Where: Fitch Avenue, Bristol, Vt.
