The Green Chavurah, a local group exploring Judaism and the joys of Vermont's seasons invite you to join us at Sleepy Hollow cross country ski area for a true Shabbat experience of reflection, seasonal awe and community on Saturday, March 1st. Celebrate winter's restful blanket and sparkling beauty with a morning ski or snowshoe to the toasty shelter of Sleepy Hollow's butternut cabin with easterly views of Camel's Hump. There we will break bread and explore the Sabbath prayers through chanting, reflection and poetry. The shelter is a mile's journey and skis or snowshoes can be rented at the lodge. Cost for a day's ski pass is $15 with a discount for 10 or more folks. Please eat a big breakfast before your journey!!
We'll meet at the lodge at 9:45 on Saturday, March 1st
Carpools will leave Ohavi Zedek in Burlington at 9:00 am (Sleepy Hollow is an easy 30 minutes drive from Burlington) Spread the word and please RSVP chavurah@ohavizedek.org or call Melanie at 385 -1039
