Craftsbury Town School District Community Meeting
Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Academy Commons Room
Craftsbury Board is scheduling this Community Forum to discuss the current Act 46 situation and the future of our schools.
Today the State Board had a preliminary vote on the Section 9 Alternative Structure Proposal that the OSSU submitted. They separated Craftsbury and Wolcott SD from the OSSU proposal. Craftsbury's vote has been moved to October 29th. The Wolcott proposal was accepted and Wolcott will remain a choice town at this time and will continue to be able to send it's students to Craftsbury.
Although the fate of Craftsbury is still unknown, the Craftsbury School Board would like to share what we know as well as hear the thoughts of Craftsbury citizens so that we can mobilize our town for a response to the State School Board's decision.
