Nilima Abrams' 'KALI YUGA CHANTS' chronicles the largely successful application of practical spirituality to help kids overcome effects of poverty and multiple trauma. The film, shot over ten years, follows a mixed-race couple living in India, and the 35 children they're raising in a makeshift foster family. As unforeseen forces threaten to tear apart the group, the need for inner strength is underscored, while raising questions central to the human condition.
