Saturday Dance at the Grange: VT Caller & Hot Young Band

Past event
Oct 20, 2018, 8 to 11 PM

Please join us for dancing and fun at the Capital City Grange Hall on Saturday night. We'll be starting off with a lesson for newcomers about 7:30 PM, followed by dancing from 8:00 to 11:00.

Vermont caller Don Stratton, who has called across the state and the region will teach and call the dances. Hot, swinging live music will be provided by "Audrey and Clayton", featuring Audrey Budington on fiddle, and Clayton Clemetson on piano. New England-based, these musicians play across the region and the country. https://www.facebook.com/Audrey-and-Clayton-799712066715540/ Contra dances are 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays at the Capital City Grange Hall in Berlin (located on Northfield Street/Route 12 just south of the I-89 overpass), Admission is $10 adults, $5 kids or low-income, $15 dance supporters. Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes, to help us protect our beautiful dance floor.

This dance series is presented by the Contra Dance Umbrella (CDU), volunteers who want to share the fun. We are a friendly and open dance community! Beginners, singles, and all ages are welcome; all dances are taught. Whoever you are, we invite you to come share the joy of dancing with us!
