Places Remembered, the first Vermont Virtuosi concert of the 2018-2019 season, features an ensemble of flutist and artistic director Laurel Ann Maurer, clarinetist Steven Klimowski, cellist Bonnie Thurber Klimowski, and pianist Claire Black performing music of Benjamin Lees, Ken Benshoof, Gabriel Fauré, Philippe Gaubert, Belinda Reynolds, and Barre composer David Gunn as they recall places, both real and imaginary, that have somehow shaped their music.
The concert will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. Admission is free; donations ($10 suggested) are welcome. For more information, visit www.LAMaurerFlute.com or call 802-881-9153.
