For the past couple of months, I've been involved with the climate justice organization 350VT. They are a great organization that I recommend looking into or getting involved with!
This Friday our local 350 chapter will be hosting a public event -- a live stream of "Drawdown: A Solutions-Based Approach to Climate Change". We are at 179 S Winooski Ave (entrance in back) and will get started on 7:30pm! The event is free and snacks will be provided =)
Drawdown is not just a movie, it's a larger project that has been hailed as "the most comprehensive plan ever proposed to reduce global warming... based on meticulous research that maps, measures, models, and describes the most substantive solutions to global warming that already exist. It is the most important goal for humanity to undertake."
