On Sunday, October 21 at 3 PM at the Albany Public Library Susan Sawyer will give a presentation on the book "The Natural History of the Northern Rivers Land Trust Area". (2nd edition-hot off the press!) Northern Rivers Land Trust contracted Susan Sawyer, a noted Woodbury naturalist, teacher, and artist to write about, record, and photograph the natural world in and around the towns of Albany, Craftsbury, and the greater Hardwick area. After years of research and field work, the book is here and already in its second printing! Chapters on geology, water, wetlands, trees and forests, plants, and animal habitats offer insights and a better understanding of the places we live in and love. Copies will be available for sale and can be signed by Susan. Come celebrate the Natural World around us this Sunday at the Albany Public Library!
