Join the tour at Jeff Forward's at 2899 Hinesburg Road (parking available) There will be a short presentation on energy-efficient homes and renewable energy, followed by a tour of Jeff's solar farm. Bring a bag lunch if you like.

Next we will board Gary Beckwith's Solar Bus for a short ride to Jack Linn's recently built home at 572 Williams Hill Road. The house that Jack built demonstrates the latest in super-insulation and requires very little energy to heat.

The third stop on the tour will be Chris Granda's home in Jonesville (422 Wes White Hill). The 13-yr-old 'Casa Granda' is very tight and well-insulated, has a solar water heater and a newly expanded solar farm.

The last stop is clean energy pioneer Betsy Hardy's little house in the village at 341 Jericho Rd. This home was originally built in 1907 and has been recently retrofitted with new insulation and windows, cold-climate heat pumps for heating, a heat pump hot water heater and solar electricity. After Betsy's the Solar Bus will deliver you back to Jeff's.
