John Ruewer and Laurie Gagne will speak about their one-month trip to the West Bank with the Meta Peace Team (MPT) last July seeking "a just world grounded in nonviolence and respect for the sacred interconnectedness of all life." They will report on
1. Current living conditions for Palestinians,
2. Interactions with Israeli soldiers,
3. Prospects for improvement in the social and political situation of the Palestinians including those in Ramallah,
4. The possibility of MPT and similar organizations providing a nonviolent model for the reduction of militarism.
