Wildlife Neighbors!
Patty Smith, author, Naturalist and Wildlife Rehabilitator, will share her adventures on Saturday, October 20th at 1PM at the Wardsboro Public Library.
From moose to mice, the woods and fields around us are populated with a curious and wonderful assortment of wildlife. Patti Smith has spent her life getting to know some of these animals in unusual ways. She has spent hours in the company of a wild beavers and porcupines, befriended a lonely moose, and has had possums nest in her hair. She has written about these adventures and more in The Beavers of Popple's Pond and in her column in the Brattleboro Reformer, the View From Heifer Hill.
During this presentation, Patti will share photos, videos and stories of some the surprising things she has learned about our wild neighbors. Bring your wildlife stories to share.
All ages are welcome!
