Thinking about weatherizing your home? The Barnard Energy Committee wants you know about two statewide programs that can help.

All are invited to a "Button Up to Weatherize" information session on Monday, Oct. 22 at 7pm at the Danforth Library on Route 12 in Barnard village. The two programs are:

Efficiency Vermont's Button Up Hero program offers a free walk-through assessment of your home and an estimate prepared one of their pre-selected certified contractors. Here in Barnard, former resident Franz van de Ven is our partnering contractor.

Capstone Community Action offers no-cost weatherization to Vermonters who meet income and other qualifications. Sonja Withington will be at the Info Meeting to speak about the program. Brochures and application forms will be available.
