The St. Johnsbury Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of UVM (OLLI of UVM) presents: THE HISTORY OF SPICES by Hank Kaestner, Director, Spice Procurement, McCormick & Co. (Retired)

From the dawn of history, the spice trade has drawn man's sense of exploration. Columbus, da Gama, Magellan were all looking for spice origins as they "discovered" the world. Mr. Kaestner has walked in the very footsteps of those famous spice explorers, and he'll share what he has learned.

Join OLLI if you like to learn for the joy of learning and are interested in exploring a variety of topics and issues.
