Works on display will include a new series of small format collages investigating America's history of discovery, colonization and frontierism as this summer I've found myself especially drawn to the birth, development and destiny of our nation. Collage is an inherently poetic medium. It is the language of rupture and I find myself living in what feels like a cut and paste culture.

2 other guest artists will be joining: my brother Ian with his beautiful woodwork @iancomptondesign and Jesse Thorne of Wyld Thorne Jewelry with her delicate creations in gold + silver. Also on view: works in collage, watercolor + acrylic by my Grandmother Kay Brown, miniature ceramic worlds, scratchboard art and studio sale of older works in collage and illustration.
