Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The music faculty of UVM will sponsor a beautiful afternoon piano recital on Sunday, March 2nd at the UVM Recital Hall, where renowned local pianist, Paul Orgel, will play three late Romantic musical gems unknown to the majority of the public. For some reason, there are very few -- or no -- recordings of these pieces, a lack that Paul is planning to remedy if he can raise enough funding. Here's your chance to be a music critic. Attend this free concert and judge for yourself why these jewels have been neglected in our time. You might even ask some friends to join you and go out to dinner afterwards to make a social occasion of it. Regardless of whether or not you decide to support the recording, you will have a wonderful time -- and something great to talk about!

And, by the way, if you are not available March 2, Paul will be giving a different recital, this time at the McCarthy Arts Center of Saint Michael's College, on Friday, April 4th, sponsored by Saint Michael's College and also free as an offering to the public.
