Past event
Oct 16, 2018, 6:30 to 8 PM

Join us Tuesday the 16th at Sterling College for a free screening of Dislecksia: The Movie. This a light-hearted documentary with a serious purpose. It gives viewers a better understanding of the condition itself, the problems it makes for individuals and families, and the programs that are needed to with deal with it.

In Focus, presented by WonderArts in partnership with the Vermont Learning Support Initiative, is a documentary series focusing on neurodiversity - an approach to learning and disability that argues diverse neurological conditions can be the result of normal variations in the human genome, framing learning challenges as differences rather than as deficits.
The film will be followed by refreshments and an open discussion.
