Learn about historic and contemporary Green Roofs, guided by Beth Haggart, certified Green Roof professional and Master Gardener. The focus will be on small scale, owner-built roofs. They create natural habitats for birds and pollinating insects, filter and hold rainwater, cool the air, and enhance our lives. Small projects like this help to combat global warming, and show our children a beautiful new way to care about our world.
