UGANDAN DRUMMING AND CULTURE!
Saturday October 13 from 3 PM to 4:30 PM at the Clemmons Family Farm: A musical book signing with the AMAZING Damascus Kafumbe, who is launching his brand new book on Ugandan drumming and culture: "Tuning the Kingdom". Bring a check or cash along to buy a signed copy of Damascus's book (on sale for $35.00). Even if you don't want to buy a book, come over anyway and listen to Damascus's presentation about Ugandan culture, music and politics, and bring a drum along to learn some of the wonderful beats from Uganda. This will be a fun way to unwind, dance, beat something that makes music, and enjoy each other's company! Once again, this event is FREE but admission is limited to 35 people.
