Ted Talks Friday Night at the Library

Past event
Oct 12, 2018, 7 to 8 PM

Friday night we're going to watch a 16-minute TED film about "Transitioning to a World Without Oil." The TED talk is given by Rob Hopkins, who participated in the beginning of Transition groups throughout the world. These groups form in local communities where people come up with ideas and ways to live that reduce and will eventually help us phase out our use of fossil fuels. We'll be watching the film and then talking a bit about the Transition movement. It's a small-town kind of thing. Interested? Please join us.
