Learn how to knit a Seaman's Scarf this Sunday afternoon at the Blinking Light Gallery! You will need 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn (I'll have some available for purchase with me, or you can get your own in advance), plus a pair of #6 knitting needles. A Seaman's Scarf is a classic handknit scarf, with a band of ribbing in the center of the scarf; the ribbing helps the scarf stay in place. Traditionally knit in garter stitch, it can also be made with other patterns.
