One of Shelburne's newest vets will be ready to answer questions about doggy health care at a program sponsored by Shelburne Village Dog Park on Friday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Shelburne Town Offices Meeting Room #1. Dr. Sarah Smets of Ark Veterinary Hospital in Shelburne will address subjects ranging from how to foster better canine dental health to how does the presence of blue green algae bloom in the lake affect my dog when he goes for a swim? And there will be lots of time for audience questions. Please don't bring your dog! The program is free, and there will be refreshments.
