This Friday, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, there will be an opportunity for young people - and older ones! - to register to vote.
This event will take place at Randolph Union High School, and is sponsored by RUHS, RTCC, members of Two Rivers Action Coalition and members and a friend of Bethany Church's Peace and Justice Committee. Students from both schools, who are or will be 18 by the November 6th election, are invited to register.
All citizens from the Town of Randolph and surrounding towns are also invited to do so. To register to vote, you must bring your driver's license number, state issued ID number or the last four digits of your social security number. Anyone who registers at this event will be added to their town's voter list and may show up at their polling place on Nov. 6 and cast their ballot. The registration table, personned by RUHS students, will be outside the school gymnasium. Banners on the outside door and over the table will help direct people to the event.
If you have not yet registered to vote, please come to this event and sign up. Remember, your vote is your voice!
